What do you really need from GOD? Think about it....

“To the mountains.......”

Before the serpent deceived Eve everything was immortal, no death, no time limitations. By deceiving Eve, the serpent introduced time into the universe which was previously timeless and immortal. See the power of serpent here. It introduced a totally new system through deception. We all have to overcome this serpent in ourselves to reach our final goal. But before overcoming, first we have to identify what is that serpent that is clinging on to our soul, which is preventing us from our eternity. Nothing other than God’s grace can help anybody on this. If we have the grace, it will be revealed to us one way or the other. If not, we have to continuously pray and beseech to the Almighty Lord so that it will be finally revealed. If we are not ready for a change, not ready to learn lessons, this life with all its material stuff and honor won’t give us any merit at the end.

That is what we need from GOD, his grace, his mercy, if not, when the time of temptation comes the serpent will deceive you, because you cannot identify that it was the serpent inside you and then you will say like Eve, "the serpent deceived me". Well, serpent is giving you the test so that you can refine yourself. It is your duty to keep yourself from not deceived by the serpent. It is similar to a student who didn’t study and then failed in the exam. After failure, he says “I failed because the questions were tough”. 

What else do you need? Think about it. I hope no one is stupid like Eve and make mistakes again and think about divine status, mysteries, and wisdom. To those he likes, he gives it in his dreams. The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). 

Serpent is a figurative for obstructions, desires, etc. which prevents you from getting rid of the impurities mixed up within you. Impurities are mixed up with the pure soul, that based on the level of purity/impurity each produce fruits worthy of that.

It is now a hard task to find and defeat these things within us - lions, serpents, etc. so that we can now get back into our very own home, very own precious kingdom. 

A task much harder than everything else; something you need to work hard for your whole life; day by day; hour by hour. Because you never know when this serpent will come and in what form; you cannot run away, you cannot fail. Because by running away you cannot progress; failure means you are moving one step back. Neither of these will help you. More than that, you should have the faculty of intelligence working within you in cooperation, so that at that time, at that moment when it comes your inner vision is clear to see and identify that it is the lion, it is the serpent, you have to now handle it with utmost importance. Otherwise, it will affect your spiritual progress as well as snatch whatever you have achieved.
